Today is the day that we have been counting down for several months. For our families who read this little blog, you are all aware of this beautiful story. The incredible story of 2 best friends from Hunan, and the 2 American families that were blessed to have found each other. This is the day that Shaelee's best buddy in China is finally meeting her new family. They are in Changsha China now, and at 3pm their time (midnight MST), they will meet their new daughter Sienna. It'a already Monday in China. Sienna will retrace the same steps today, that Shaelee made a little over 3 months ago. We are so happy that Sienna will meet her new family today! We are so thankful to be able to share in special journey. We just wanted to share with our parents and friends how happy we are for Sienna's family. We are saying special prayers for this very special family. We hope you will too.

Uncle Chris and Aunt Kim decided we needed a basketball hoop for Christmas. And, maybe they were right, the kids have loved shooting baskets! Notice the princess playing basketball....priceless!
And, I think that Shaelee may be a budding photographer, she did take that picture of Emily.
A very HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AUNT CARRIE!!!!
We're late, I know, but we do love you!
This week our new friends in MN are leaving to get their new daughter Sienna. Shaelee's best buddy. We are saying our prayers for safe travels and an easy transition.

It's been a banner day! Shaelee went to her first day of Chinese preschool. She was up at 6:15am, she had laid out her clothes, and she couldn't wait to get out the door! She asked me last week where her Jei Jei was, and I told her at school. She pointed to herself, and I asked her, "do you want to go to school?" She nodded yes. So, she went to school today. She could have stayed all day! Her pictures posted backward from preschool to home, oh well. Love you Shaelee!
Claire competed at her new level for the first time today, after an injury that sidelined her meets since this summer. Her beam routine was amazing (according to her very proud Dad), and she placed 6th in a very large tournament. We are celebrating her amazing performance. Love you Claire!

So Viny and Emily went to the cabin....3 feet of snow! I got to stay home where it was sunny and 70 degrees and have a slumber party on the family room floor. I think everyone had a great time. Except for Sunday night when Ralph, VIny and Emily went missing. The Gilbert police will never take me seriously again. All is well that ends well. Ralph will be carrying a cell phone from now on. Right honey?
